Prints & Multiples

Our August Edinburgh Festivals 2024 edition of Prints & Multiples is led by a striking screenprint by the iconic artistic phenomenon Yayoi Kusama. Featuring her signature polka-dot pumpkin against a cracked patterned background, the two-colour print is vibrant and dynamic, much like the artist herself. Following the excitement of the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament, we are delighted to offer two iconic footballing scenes by L.S. Lowry, ?Going to the Match? and ?The Football Match.? Other significant British printmakers are represented in the group of five Submarine lithographs by Eric Ravilious and two significant literary-inspired prints by Paula Rego. We are also delighted to be offering a selection of American printmaking in this auction including works by Ed Rusha, Robert Rauschenberg and an evocative group of woodcuts by Walter H. Williams. Photography is well-represented in the sale with prints on offer from Helmut Newton, George Platt Lynes and Cindy Sherman.
