Featured Lots: 1. Important Pre-Columbian Taino wood reliquary from the Dominican Republic, ca. 1400-1500 CE. A carved Janus figure with two human effigies. This exquisite carving is a masterpiece in workmanship and exhibits the only brown wood sculpture depicting the birthing mother (Atabey) birthing mother of the Taino culture on one side, and her son in spirit form on the opposite side: A rare and important example!

2.Pre-Columbian Aztec stone goddess figure from Mexico, ca. 1200-1400 CE. A kneeling figure with hands resting on her knees. She is wearing a necklace, and beaded headband, adorned with long, full tassels by each ear.

3. Important Pre-Columbian Huari Tapestry Tunic from Peru, ca. 650-900 CE. This particular tunic is from the Pachacamac site in the South Coast of Peru. This tunic was made with alpaca wool and dyed with vegetable dye in black, red and yellow colors. It is decorated with stylized figures; the lower register is decorated with geometric figures in the shape of diamonds and step designs.
