The first 78 lots are additional items from the estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff. Highlights from this portion of the collection include Chinese and Japanese porcelain, artwork, a Pavel Bure carriage clock and silverplate. A selection of furntiure from the estate features 3 continental game tables with figural dolphin bases, an early bible box, a pair of large wrought iron torchieres, and a Italian pedestal desk with the Valguarnera family crest inlaid on both sides. Beginning at lot 100, our October Uncurated Estate Finds Auction includes more than 300 lots of artwork, jewelry, coins, silver, porcelain and decorative items, as well as Edison phonographs, designer and mesh handbags, guitars and glass. Highlights include a selection of Lalique, an album of stamps from the collection of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Danish and mid-century modern furniture, hatpins, an oil painting by Ben Benn, and 2 sterling silver loving cups.
