Our final Arms, Armor & Militaria auction of 2024 begins with historic edged weapons including a pair of attractive Japanese blades, one a Tanto signed by Masahiro, and an English Import 1796 Cavalry Officers' Saber with a Blue and Gilt Blade. From there, we will proceed through antique arms such as firearms issued during the American Civil War era, and assorted weapons evocative of the Frontier Era, including Smith & Wesson, Winchester, Merwin & Hulbert, and Remington produced examples. Antique arms shall conclude with a Gettysburg Souvenir 12 Pound Solid Shot engraved by Edward Woodward, one of the earliest souvenir traders of the American Civil War. Modern edged weapons are up next, including the French Model 1916 Type II fighting knife with its original blued scabbard. From there, modern military and sporting Arms from World War II to the present shall flow through the remainder of the auction. Included among these are a number of Finnish Mosin-Nagant rifles, M1 Carbines, Assorted US marked .22 caliber training rifles, and Enfield rifles. Modern handguns appear toward the end of the auction and include turn of the century autoloaders from Savage and Pieper, as well as more up to date firearms by Beretta, Glock, Colt, and Smith & Wesson.
