Important Italian Glass & Design

Important Italian Glass
On December 12th, Wright presents Important Italian Glass, showcasing masterworks from various private collections around the world. Among the many highlights are two spectacular and rare Primavera designs by Ercole Barovier from 1929-30, which have never been seen on the market before. Of special interest is a Primavera Camel, as the only other known example is part of the private collection established by Francesco Carrara in Venice. This piece is not only captivating but also boasts an extraordinary provenance.
This edition of Important Italian Glass features works spanning from 1900 to the 1970s and beyond, from Murano's most renowned designers, including Carlo Scarpa, Vittorio Zecchin, Tomaso Buzzi, Napoleone Martinuzzi, Ercole Barovier, Fulvio Bianconi, and Paolo Venini. Another highlight of note is a rare Mosaico vase by Artisti Barovier, which has never before appeared on the market.
