Post War & Contemporary Art

On February 25th, Post War & Contemporary Art presents an exceptional selection of works from leading modern and contemporary artists, with a special emphasis on the influence and legacies that have emerged from California. Of major significance is The Doumani House Collection: Masterworks from a Distinguished Home, a momentous offering from the interior of Roy and Carol Doumani. Their home, designed by sculptor Robert Graham, became a living testament to artistic vision and innovation. This selection features remarkable works of art and sculpture by Graham, Helen Pashgian, Eric Orr, Claire Falkenstein, Frank Gehry, and more. Further highlights include a late 1980s sculpture from Igor Mitoraj, as well as an early untitled 1961 canvas from John Baldessari, sculpture from De Wain Valentine, and works from Ed Ruscha, Billy Al Bengston, Catherine Opie, Ed Moses, Larry Bell, Tony Berlant, Ken Price, Kaz Oshiro, and Sam Francis.
