Clarke Auction, following a strong sale to being the 2013 auction year, presents a marvelous selection of fine art, decorative arts, period furniture, silver, and Asian antiques on February 3rd. Fine Art Includes a Thomas Hill oil on canvas entitled "Mountain Cascade", a Valetine Prax oil on canvas entitled "Wood Cutters", multiple lots of African American Artist Keith Duncan, a Paul Jenkins abstract oil on canvas entitled "Phenomena Arabic Calls," a large oil on canvas after Reni entitled "Aurora", an Old Master on canvas entitled "Capture of Christ". Other Fine Art includes a Paul Landacre wood engraving, a group of 26 American Artist group prints, a lot of 5 watercolor scenes by Barbara Latham, a Joan Miro lithograph, 3 Bernard Buffet lithographs, and many more important and beautiful works.
