Sixteenth Anniversary Fine Estates Auction

Our Sixteenth Anniversary Fine Estates Auction comprises over 550 lots of fresh estate property, and features Part One - Antiques & Decorative Arts from the Estate of Bobbie Hainline Howrey, to include several hundred books on fine art, antiques and various other subjects. Also offered is property from various other estates and collections from New York City, Westchester County New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The sale will feature estate jewelry, several lots of estate sterling silver, as well as American, English and Continental formal and country furniture and decorations, fine Chinese and European porcelain, fine art and folk art, mid-century modern decorations and estate oriental carpets. Of special interest are a group of Napoleonic related material, primarily prints and drawings, from an estate in Westchester County and a collections of custom sporting knives from an estate in Fairfield County. In addtion, the sale features the Hathaway-Phelps Family important Connecticut queen anne cherrywood bonnet top highboy recently deaccessioned from The Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford CT.
