Le Grand Début

Legacy Auction House invites you to our inaugural auction event:Le Grande Debut, taking place Friday, August 1 at 2:00 PM Eastern. This marks the beginning of a new voice in the auction world, and we're proud to open our doors with a collection that reflects passion, history, and discovery. Whether you're a seasoned bidder or simply curious, we welcome you to be part of this first chapter. Highlights include an oil painting attributed to Sassoferrato; signed Salvador Dali lithographs and artist proofs with provenance from Peter B. Lucas and The Dali Archives; and a collection of art glass featuring Rene Lalique, Emile Galle, Tiffany Studios, Moser, and Loetz Austria. You'll also find portrait miniatures, Viennese enamels, French champleve, mid-century modern furniture, and original works by Charles B. Culver. This debut auction also honors the consignors who made it possible. George Bozin, a lifelong collector of Salvador Dali, built professional relationships with The Dali Archives and Peter B. Lucas. His collection has been appraised and authenticated by the most trusted sources in the field. We are also pleased to offer five works from Linda Ward, a Detroit-based contemporary artist whose 500 Portraits series has attracted collectors across the country, including actress Demi Moore. Finally, the heart of this auction is a single-owner estate: Rose, a woman who spent nearly 100 years collecting fine art, antiques, and cultural objects with curiosity, refinement, and passion. Her legacy lives on through the treasures she left behind. Join us for Le Grande Debut, Thursday, August 1st at 2:00 PM Eastern. Bidding is now open.
