Modern Art

On October 15, 2025, we will be auctioning nearly 170 impressive works in our Modern and Contemporary Art auction. The spatial integration Sphaerische Hohlspiegelwand by Adolf Luther is a unique object from the early 1970s that creates a seemingly infinite space with 48 concave mirrors. In a fascinating interplay of light and reflection, the work transforms material structure into immaterial light phenomena, a central concern of Luther's. As an important representative of light and object art, Luther deliberately integrated his works into architectural spaces in order to atmospherically connect art and environment. You can also look forward to four XXL and SUMO editions from Taschen Verlag on the works of various artists. Particularly noteworthy are the three limited editions on Zaha Hadid, David Hopper, and Neo Rauch, which are no longer available from the publisher. Of course, classical modernism is also represented in our auction. Discover works by Fernand Leger, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, and Pablo Picasso.
