Lyon & Turnbull are pleased to announce the next edition of London Jewellery, our flagship fine jewellery auction dedicated to fine antique, modern and designer jewellery, taking place on 22 October. We are honoured to bring to the market for the first time the private jewellery collection of Virginia Fortune Ryan Ogilvy, Dowager Countess of Airlie, the late Lady in Waiting to Queen Elizabeth II, including the historic Airlie Tiara. Curated by our Jewellery department, the sale features a carefully selected array of signed jewels by celebrated maisons such as Faberg?, Verdura, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier, alongside antique Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian treasures with timeless appeal. Also included in the sale is a range of 20th century revolutionary British jewellers' creations including a substantial collection of Charles de Temple's work as well as examples from Alan Martin Gard, Roy King and John Donald.
