LIVE AUCTIONEERS BLURB(S) DOWN & DIRTY INVENTORY REDUCTION SALE My wife, henceforth Mom, & I, henceforth Pop, have always operated as a Mom & Pop Book, Art, Autograph, Old paper, & Ephemera operation. This was true when we had our Brick & Mortar store for 30+ years as well as in our online operations. Well, Mom & Pop are getting VERY long in the tooth. We need to speed the sale of our remaining inventory which we swear breeds new items at night. We need to do this to reduce the clutter in our downsized living space & especially so that the Heir doesn't have to be overwhelmed when we shuffle off to that great bookstore in the sky. The Heir being an upstanding & intelligent citizen knows she definitely SHOULD NOT have a 25 to 50 cents yard sale when the time comes, but she is a professional micro-biologist and is not acquainted with inventory values So to ease things all around, both now, & the inevitable then we are having the aforementioned Inventor Reduction Sale. If reasonably successful we will have similar sales from time to time in the future. HERE'S HOW IT WILL WORK. All lots will have a starting bid of $1 to $10 per item--none higher. Lots with multiple items will have a Starting Bid of $1 to $10 PER ITEM. Example: Lot with 5 items times $5 per item will be $25 Starting Bid. Again none higher. There will be NO reserves on any lot. We have cut our Starting Bids to the bone & will probably be gasping for mercy on some sold lots. Se Lie Vie! Selling the material it more important in our dotage than the supposed retail of the lots. Help out some old people, Bid early & Bid often.
