Modern Design

Our signature fall Design sales include a morning session devoted to Early 20th Design and an afternoon session covering Design the 2nd half of the 20th century to the present. Early 20th Century standouts include a large selection of Tiffany lamps and decorative objects, a collection of Rozenburg porcelain; and a several very fine offerings of French Art Deco furniture by Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, Maurice Dufresne, Jules Leleu and Raymond Subes, among others. Modern Design highlights include works by George Nakashima, Paul Evans, Ruth Duckworth, Fernando and Humberto Campana. There is an extensive offering of Italian Post Modern design, as well perennial favorites by Charles and Ray Eames, Philip and Kelvin Laverne, Arne Jacobsen, and many more.
