NEW YORK, NY -- Doyle is honored to auction property from The Jane Stanton Hitchcock Collection, the best-selling mystery novelist whose incisive wit and keen social insight were shaped by her life in the rarified circles of New York and Washington society.

The landmark single-owner auction of artwork, furniture, decorations, silver, Asian works of art, books and more from her Manhattan duplex at 10 Gracie Square will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 10am. This elegant residence was decorated over the years by three distinguished interior designers – Mark Hampton, Genevieve Faure and Bunny Williams. Additional property will be offered in select sales later this spring. The entire collection will be on view January 17 – 19.

Jewelry from Jane Stanton Hitchcock’s collection will be offered in the sales of Jewelry Online on January 20 and Fine Jewelry on January 22. Select pieces from her collection were featured in the sale of Important Jewelry on December 11.
