After 36 years in Woodstock, New York, one of the country’s most famous art towns, the James Cox Gallery at Woodstock has scheduled an online-only Collectors Exchange Fine Art Auction for Sunday, June 7, 2026, to begin at 1:00 pm. 220 pieces consigned by institutions, private collectors, and estates make up this exceptional auction. Original Woodstock art has always played a starring role in the biannual fine art auctions sponsored by the James Cox Gallery, this sale will feature an especially extensive array of paintings and works on paper by members of the historic Colony of the Arts. American and internationally renowned artists are also featured, including: Hiroshige, Doris Lee, Kenny Scharf, Jules Olitski, Zulma Steele, Arnold and Lucile Blanch, Alfred Stieglitz, and many, many more! 98% will be sold at no reserve. This online-only event will be carried on both LiveAuctioneers and Invaluable. Telephone and absentee bids submitted before the auction are also accepted.
