prominent estates and collections, including the Henry Francis du Pont Estate.
This special cataloged auction will feature American Antiques; Decorative and Fine Art, including a collection of works by Brandywine illustrators; Asian Export; Tiffany; Clocks; Fine Jewelry; Carpets; Silver, and more, with no additions. To be sold at absolute auction with no minimums or reserves.
Known in the community as discriminating antique and art collectors, Dr. and Mrs. Reichert purchased many of the items in this collection at prominent estate auctions throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including the estate of Henry Francis du Pont, founder of Winterthur Museum in Greenville, Delaware. The couple loved Brandywine Valley artists and collected works by Wyeth, Schoonover, Hoskins and Darley, among others.

By registering to bid and/or submitting any bid, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

MERCHANDISE OFFERED
- All items offered for auction will be sold AS IS, WHERE IS, and WITHOUT GUARANTEE.
- Listings are for descriptive purposes only.
- Bidders are responsible for examining all items and/or requesting condition reports, and bidding according to their own expertise.
- All announcements made on the day/evening of the auction supersede any other previously announced or published materials.
REGISTRATION and BIDDING
- Buyers must register at each auction.
- To bid on-line, you must register with Live Auctioneers.
- ALL BIDDERS MUST BE REGISTERED AND APPROVED BY 1PM, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th. WE WILL NOT APPROVE BIDDERS FOR THIS AUCTION AFTER 1PM ON SEPTEMBER 13th.
- In order to be approved, all registrants must supply Briggs Auction, Inc. with valid VISA or MasterCard information. This may be submitted using the submission form available on the Briggs Auction website or will be faxed upon request.
- Successful on-line bidders will be notified following the auction and will be provided an invoice and payment details.
BUYER'S PREMIUM and SALES TAX
- The Buyer's Premium will be added to each sale.
- PA Residents and buyers who pick up merchandise in person are required to pay PA State Sales Tax (6%) on each sale, including the buyer's premium, unless exempted by law.
- If sales tax exempt, you must present us with a valid exemption number prior to the auction.
PAYMENT
- For successful On-line Bids, full payment via Cash, Approved Check, Credit Card, or Wire Transfer, or PayPal is required within one (1) week following the auction.
- A $20 fee will be assessed on all returned checks.
- No item may be removed or will be shipped until full payment has been made.
SHIPPING
- If you plan to pick an item up at our showroom, please call ahead to confirm the daily schedule: 610.485.0412.
- Briggs Auction, Inc. does not ship, however we can help make arrangements with local shippers.
- All shipping, packing, and handling costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
- Items will only be shipped to the purchaser's Live Auctioneers registration/billing address.
