Material Culture's November 17th, 2013 Fine Art Auction features over 500 lots of Paintings, Prints, Works on Paper and Sculpture. The sale includes important works by David Burliuk, Haitian artist Hector Hyppolite and the Russian artist Dmitry Krasnopevtsev. There are nearly 100 works by prominent 20th Century artists from the The Prudential Insurance Company of America including: Aaron Siskind, Markus Lupertz, Louise Nevelson, Karen Knorr, Michael Mazur, Le Roy Neiman, Stanley Boxer and Gerald Laing. The Auction features important works by Nigerian Artists including Prince Twins Seven Seven, Ben Enwonwu, David H. Dale, Gani Odutokun, Tony Enebeli and Jimoh Buraimoh. Other highlights include works by Purvis Young, James Rosenquist, Alex Katz, Henry Moore, Leonora Carrington, Alexander Calder, Andy Warhol, Harry Bertoia, Donald Sultan, Fernand Leger, Leonid Purygin, Moses Soyer, Agnes Weinrich, Jacob Lawrence and Ellison Hoover. Additionally the sale features works by the Chinese Painters Guo Yicong and Chang Ran.
