Henry Van De Velde and contemporaries

Henry Van De Velde, predecessors, contemporaries and followers To celebrate the 150th birthday of Henry Van De Velde, we put a special focus on items by him, his predecessors, contemporaries and followers, as well as on extraordinary objects by Émile Gallé. Consignments came especially from the Gallé family, from the estate of the Osthaus family (Van De Velde) and from the estate of the painter Curt Herrmann, a personal friend of Van De Velde. Items by these two outstanding artists are followed up by a very fine selection of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Design.
