Civil War, art and Antique Auction

Featuring a great assortment of Civil War (mostly Confederate) items from a single collector, from the same collector a collection of silhouettes. In addition there are many pieces of pottery, Asian items, collection of lamp-bases including many by Pairpoint, and continued art from the National Arts Club Collection. The Civil War items include many lots of Confederate currency, bonds, loan documents & letters from South Carolina, North Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, Virginia & more. The art from the National Arts Club includes a collection of art (including classical album covers) by Bernard LaMotte, Raymond Breinin, Edward Buk Ulreich, Leon Karp & Walter Reinsel from the Capehart Collection. Also from the National Arts Club are selected works by Carlos Ochagavia, Danny Dent (a portrait of John Lennon that was sold here last month to a NPB who wanted a payment plan), a great collection of 75 etchings by Bartolomeo Pinelli: "Dante's Purgatory" (sold last month to a NPB who though we provide free shipping), a rare collection of 35 watercolors depicting still-lives of various (Asian) table lamps, Warren E. Cox, exhibitor & more. Estate art includes a winter landscape by Constantine Westchiloff, a collection of oils by Susan Kahn, most in Heydenryk frames, Maxfield Parrish prints, lithograph by Calder (friendship), lithograph by Roy Lichtenstein (Paris Expo). Mid Century includes two lamps, Gae Aulenti "La Ruspa" enameled metal table lamp by Martinelli-Luce & a large frosted white glass dome lamp by Martinelli-Luce, Dansk items, a sectional Saporitti sofa & a mid century marble top cocktail table.
