Payment Deadline: Payment must be received within
14 calendar days of invoice date or the sale may

1. Auction Catalog No. 21 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email
and Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted
under the laws of the State of West Virginia by Gil
Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.

2. Absentee bid closing date is March 14, 2003,
10:00 PM EST.

3. There is a 17.5% Buyer’s Premium charged on the
final hammer price of each lot.

4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid
for any reason.

5. The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any
lot for any reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest
bid received will be the winner.

7. Some lots may carry a reserve beneath which the
item will not be sold.

8. Detailed descriptions of lots and photocopies are
available upon request.

9. Illustrations of lots in this catalog may have had
size modifications or may have been trimmed to
exclude framing, matting and wide blank margins for
display purposes.

10. Estimated selling prices are for your guidance
only. Actual selling prices may be higher or lower
than the estimate indicated.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum acceptable
bid for any lot is 50% of the low estimate given in
the item description.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request. West
Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of 6%
unless a resale number is filed with us prior to
the closing date. For sales outside of the USA a
credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via FedEx unless otherwise
arranged. Handling, shipping and insurance charges
are added to the invoice. Oversize and foreign
shipments are subject to increased charges All
items are shipped immediately upon receipt of
payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable
within seven days providing that it comes back in
the same condition. There is a lifetime guarantee
on authenticity to the original purchaser. The
item(s) must be returned with two letters denying
it’s authenticity by expert authenticators
acceptable to both parties.

15. The placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance
of the preceding terms and conditions of sale.
