1) Payment: Payment will be accepted in the form of Paypal invoice. For internet bidders, if payment is not received within 3 business days following the auction, a payment reminder invoice will be sent. If payment is not received within 5 business days of the auction, we (Walnut Auctions, Inc.) reserve the right to void the sale of the item(s)in the next auction.
2)AUTHENTICATION & PROVENANCE OF ATTRIBUTED LOTS: (and lots offered "in the manner of"): This lot is being offered as "attributed to" the named artist. We have no specific documentation to prove or disprove its authenticity, nor have we submitted it to any expert or committee of experts for review or forensic examination. Authentication is not an exact science. Contrary opinions may exist. Our opinion is not based on any specific expertise. The signature, style, and composition of the work seem absolutely correct and are similar to pieces of known authenticity and provenance which we have seen or sold, although neither we nor the consignor can guaranty that the present lot is wholly or partly by the ascribed artist. Regarding provenance, at times we rely on information provided to us by the consignor, the consignor's agent, family records or documents, estate papers, and/or other third parties. Sometimes this information cannot be verified. If you have questions about a lot's provenance, please ask them prior to bidding. Unless stated otherwise, no documents, letters, or additional information concerning provenance will accompany the lot.Aside from authorship, all property is sold "AS IS" without any warranties or representations by us or the Consignor as to the exactness or correctness of the catalogue, index, addendum, oral statement, or online description of the medium, date, state, edition, size, quality, physical condition, rarity, reference, importance, value, provenance, exhibitions, estimate, literature or historical relevance of any property. No statement anywhere, whether oral or written or online, whether made in the catalogue, sales agreement, sales-room posting or announcement, an advertisement, or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. We and the Consignor make no representations and warranties whatsoever as to whether the buyer acquires any copyrights or reproduction rights in any property. 3)The Auctioneer and the Consignor assume no risk, liability or responsibility for the authenticity or the authorship of any property identified in the online catalogue (that is, the identity of the creator or the period, culture, source or origin as the case may be, with which the creation of any property is identified herein). All property is sold "As Is" and neither the Auctioneer nor the Consignor makes any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness or any implied warranty or merchantability or any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose as it relates to description, genuineness, attribution, provenance, safety, reliability or condition of the property. If any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose can be construed from the catalogue, auction, or bill of sale, such warranties are disclaimed by the Auctioneer and the Consignor. No statement in the online catalogue or made at the sale or in the Bill of Sale or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty or representation or an admission of liability. Moreover, the Auctioneer will not be held responsible for any variations in appearance of online photographs.
4) The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any property at any time before actual sale.

6) Shipping: All international shipments are shipped via USPS Express Mail International, Priority Mail International, or UPS Worldwide Express/Expedited (depending on the destination country rules and regulations regarding prohibited items and declared value). For items that are too large for in-house shipment, a gallery approved vendor will be provided for crate and freight services. For framed artwork, since we (Walnut Auctions) sell the item based on being framed and matted prior to being consigned to the gallery, we will not remove any item from the frame and/or matting, unless there is damage to a front glass panel prior to being sold. Sometimes there may be damage or alteration to the artwork that is not visible once the art has been framed. However, upon removal from the frame it has been discovered one multiple occasions that there was a flaw hidden from view, causing the item to be returned due to misrepresentation. We will no longer provide frame removal service, nor will we assume responsibility of the artwork's condition if the winning bidder decides to have the art removed from the frame by a third party shipper.
