Champion Macau Auction Winter 2015

Welcome to Champion Auction! The Chinese Family Collection features multiple examples of some of the rarest and finest condition Chinese coins. The overall rarity and quality reflect the family’s interest in building a top collection. Many of the coins were obtained from the 1960s to 1990s thru major auctions and private treaty sales. They were one of the leading buyers at the 1991 Goodman sale of Chinese coins. The Heaton Pattern coins from Kwantung and Shensi Province from the collection are from the Heaton archives sales of the 1970s/1980s period and from other leading auctions. Many coins are of the highest rarity and in the finest known condition. This is a great opportunity for collectors of top Chinese vintage coins to add to their collection. I hope the new owners will enjoy these coins as much as the members of the Chinese Family have. We are also featuring a Chinese 1992 Lunar Completion Gold Kilo in our Modern China section. We last sold an example of this great rarity in August 2011 for a record setting price of USD 790,000. We hope that you enjoy Champion Macau Auction and look forward to helping you build your collection! Michael Chou Champion Auction
