Spring Auction Sale of Coins, Stamps, Jewellery and Collectibles

Session 1 Tuesday 21st March 2006 at 12.30 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) 752 lots comprising a private collection of silver coins of Elizabeth I, inc. shillings (31), hammered sixpences (89), milled sixpences (64), groats (5), threepences (24), halfgroats (15), three-halfpences (3) and pennies (11) and James I, inc. shillings (35), sixpences (35), halfgroats (16), pennies (11) and halfpennies (9), James I copper farthings (12) and a range of early English milled shillings, etc., plus an extensive plated collection of imperforate stamps of Queen Victoria, penny blacks (c. 105), twopenny blues (c. 650) and penny red-brown shades (c. 24,500), inc. blocks, strips and covers.
