The outdoor furniture is beautiful but what stands out about Westport Auction is their service. They are incredibly accommodating-I had to leave town unexpectedly and WA still made arrangements to have everything delivered safely without any problems. They are the best!

The purchase of my item was smooth and seamless. I drove from RI to CT to pick up the item, and the auction house staff were very friendly and helped to load the table into my car. Easy, efficient and pleasant.

Knowledgeable and helpful with the artwork and shipping

I bought a mirror, which, when I saw it, looked exactly like the photograph. I picked it up myself, at their annex in Bridgeport, and the workmen there were courteous and helpful. The mirror was quite heavy, so one of them offered to carry it out to my car. Arrived home safely, and it fits the intended spot perfectly. All good!

Outrageous Shipping Cost of $54.75 for a shipment which, at the high end for packing, insurance and GROUND Shipping may have come to $20.00 Received shipment of 5 baseball cards in a 1 lb box which measures 9 "x 7" x 3 . The value of the contents from the auction was $793.60. Westport Auction & Design Gallery was quite professional and it was a pleasure to do business with them. Paid the invoice, contacted one of the preferred shippers and received a charge of $54.75 for UPS Ground Shipment (Dec 4, 2020). Can someone please break down the shipping cost? I understand the box, the pickup, the packing (it did contain 37 packing peanuts), the shipping fee (Ct. to Mo. and the insurance are all pricing factors. From an uninformed viewpoint, this shipping cost seems somewhat excessive, just wanted to be a bit more educated for any future purchases. I will try not to let this affect my business relationship with the Auction company.
