Item was in very nice condition, verified by the pictures we received after this claim was made. Midcentury items may have slight signs of age, If you want new in the box, please shop with Ikea.

Item mentioned is approximately 140 years old. It was sold as is, no condition report requested. It sold for a very reasonable price. This customer usually calls to inquire about items first prior to bidding, we would have gladly provided a report. We shipped the item before the customer paid for shipping as a courtesy! The requested payment has been updated.

Although most bidders are happy with their purchases, unfortunately there are a few that are not. There are many circumstances involved, perhaps sales tax, shipping costs by another company, etc. that have nothing to do with us. This item had multiple pictures shown, description was accurate. Buyer contacted us after receiving the item with an issue about total costs. We suggest shippers, but there is no obligation, buyer may send any shipper of choice. Although having no fault in this transaction, we offered a courtesy discount, even to resell the item for the customer. Customer did not want to pay to ship it back and refused to accept our gracious offers. This bidder is using someone elses account, is not being truthful about the matter, and is unfamiliar with the auction process. We do our best to make each customer happy.

Sales tax is handled by liveauctioneers as mandated by state. Shipping is a separate fee. We provide it as a service and a convenience. Customer refused to pay for shipping.

During this unprecedented crisis our world is facing, shipping may be slightly delayed. We appreciate all the patience and appreciation we receive from our valued customers. We do not overnight items unless prearrangement is made. Fragile item was delivered quickly and safe.

Bidder was accomodated for pick up and quite satisfied with the item, actually inquiring about other items.

Completely unfair rating. Buyer missed multiple appointments to pick up the item and never called back.
