There was an issue that arose regarding the condition of the auction items. Bunte resolved it quickly, professionally and fairly. I would not hesitate to recommend Bunte and also to do business with them in the future....

I wish if you offered in house shipping through usps. I had to go through one of those ups pick up services which seriously over charges for shipping. I have a shipping dept. in my shop and this would have been shipped for $30-$40 it puts out of state bidders to a disadvantage and will have to calculate the higher shipping cost into the bids, that's money you guys should be making:) just a thought:) thank you, jerry

Being fair on shipping costs really helps.

My online bidding experience on February 26th for Lot 1523 was not like any other bidding experience I have had with other auction houses using the Live Auctioneers platform. A few days before the auction I placed a bid, and when the auction began for Lot 1523 on the 26th the bidding increased but no competing bids, floor bids, or opposing Live Auctioneers bids showed on the bidding window. The only bids showing as the bids increased were "Your Absentee Bid" in green which essentially looked as if my bid was being increased by the clerk without me pressing the bid bar. This went from $425 up to around $1000 when finally, there was a competing bid in a different colored bar. Then I began entering bids, not before then. Seems to me the lot should have sold between $475 (when there were 6 "fair warning" bars) and $500.

Brunk's shipping fee was excessive. Everything else was fine.

My only disappointment was that phone calls were not returned to me. This was my first on-line auction and prior to the sale I called for some information. My call was never returned.

They really made the effort to go the extra mile for me. When I asked questions about the piano, they made every effort to address my concerns as best they could. They very patiently waited until I could secure shipping and the waited until the shipper could pick up the instrument. They called me personally to request my permission to release to the shipper. Very professional at every step and very personable.

They are a top notch auction house vendor!! Bunte answered questions comprehensively and promptly: excellent communication! They offered a list of local options for shipping prior to the actual auction. I chose UPS who gave a fair shipping estimate, kept the shipping within my budget, and they shipped in a timely manner; and my auction win arrived safe and well bundled.

No problems. Would buy from auction house again.

Shipping charges through UPS were really high and the shipping was very slow. A number of shippers on your list never responded to my inquiries. All of which reminds me that I should not buy from auction houses outside my city of residence. It would be nice if you could do your own packing and shipping so that the rates are comparable to what a person would normally pay to ship an item.

The painting had been cut down on two sides; top and right. This was not disclosed. Also the dimensions in the catalog were incorrect; stated 16 x 20. Actual size was 14 x 18. There was no response from the Auction house when I contacted them after the auction with these concerns. Did not ask to return the painting but would have expected a lower opening bid amount.

My review is delayed due to late shipment by the outside firm, not due to Bunte. I would suggest that Bunte listings include dimensions, as this is much bigger than I envisioned. That is only a display issue for me.
