Austin Auction Gallery was founded in 1983 and is one the premier Antique and Fine art auction houses in the Southwest. Since its inception, our gallery has conducted more than 3000 auctions for state and federal institutions, business liquidations, foreclosure auctions, and hundreds of estate auctions for family members, executors and trustees.
In the early 1990's Austin Auction Gallery shifted its focus to specialize in antiques and fine art. Since that time our gallery has sold some of the finest American and European antiques offered in the Southwest. Our staff has traveled extensively in Europe, South America, and even Africa in order to secure and maintain relationships with exporter/consignors. Through these travels and the hands on experience of auctioning literally ten of thousands of items our staff offers a superior level of expertise and familiarity with current market conditions for fine art and antiques.
We are located in northwest Austin, convenient to the airport and downtown Austin. Our 25,000 square foot climate controlled facility was built expressly for auctions. It features two galleries fitted with closed-circuit tv and a small cafe for your dining delight.

Love this place!
My third auction here. You never know what kind of cool stuff you will find for your mansion, mostly from Europe it seems! The kind crew of lads is always ready to help load the van.... they deserve some tips for sure!

Highest quality bookcase, perfectly measured & excellent packaging. Shipping & tax added 130 %
This bookcase was even more beautiful than pictured. Cabinet makers signature on the back was not mentioned in details and a nice surprise. The measurements were perfect, to the half inch. It was a little dusty and spidery underneath. This item was beautifully packaged in a well padded custom box with no damage and sent through UPS, which was easy to track. I'm thrilled with my purchase and will follow this auction house because of my excellent experience.

Efficiency!
Great auction house to deal with. Everything spelled out clearly. Easy to do business with. The shipping company was outstsnding. I received very large peices of furniture within two weeks of purchase and over 1400 miles away. I was amazed since I've been waiting for items from an auction house in my own state for 3 wks! Will be returning!

Nice folks all around
I picked my item up in person and the staff was very nice and helpful. The only issue was the safety on the rifle didn't work (stuck in the fire position) but I didn't notice that till I got home with it. Other than the safety being nonfunctional it was as advertised. Thanks!
