It is no understatement to say that over the years, Lunds has played a huge part in furnishing our home. I have been able to find some beautiful pieces, often quirky and unusual, just by patiently waiting and watching. Its fun buying at auction and for the right piece, interesting and cost effective.

Leave it to the Canadian's to have a Wonderful Auction House who delivers Excellence in every aspect of business, from customer service to delivery of product.

Everything was as described, fast and easy payment process; shipping company suggested was just as excellent.

I believe the information, photos, and description of this auction are accurate though intentionally deceptive. The photos make the item look like an actual painting, but it isn't, and it frankly isn't worth any of the money I paid for it. Once I won the auction I was told I would receive an email to pay, but never received one. Instead I received a phone call from the auction house several days later asking me to pay over the phone. This seemed odd to me, and I was traveling at the time, so this was especially inconvenient and an email to pay online would have been better. At the time I paid, there was no clarification of how large the piece was and how much it was likely to cost to ship, the auction house simply dropped it off at UPS and left it up to them. UPS then contacted me and asked me if I really wanted to ship it, as the person at the UPS store could likely tell the piece wasn't of a quality worth shipping for as much as it was going to cost. Not wanting to leave my artwork there, I agreed to pay it, but it was exhorbitant. Upon arrival, both my husband and I agreed that this piece was not worth shipping and was a bad buy. Had there been higher quality photos and more description, I definitely would not have purchased it and probably won't be purchasing from them again.

As a first-time auction attendee after many years away, I have found Lund's exceptionally accommodating in helping me access that live-online auction system. They have been easy to talk to and easy to understand. I have been very comfortable buying and selling through Lund's

Had a great first-time experience purchasing jewelry from Lunds at an online auction. We know there great reputation in our market and were able to participate through Live Auctioneers. Item was exactly as featured and we were able to talk to the appraiser. Very happy with purchase from a legendary goldsmith.

Bid on over 15 lots and won 3, however one of the prints have 6 (yes six!) holes on it and it was not identified on the item descriptions, nor in any of the photos. This would devalue the item greatly and should have been listed clearly. Plus all three items I won and received have various degrees of handling marks and creases which none are listed in the description nor shown on any of the photos. When contacted, the auctioneer said I should have asked for condition reports for every single item prior to placing my bid, and that he has no time to list and photographed all these thing due to high volume of items. I have purchased many items from various auction houses around the world and this is the first instance this happened. Very disappointed and quite shocked of the auction house’s response to be honest; so if I was planning on bidding on 15 lots, I should have asked for condition reports for each of the 15 items! Is that really a good use of the bidders ’ and auction house’s time, especially if the online auction is set up for this very purpose (photos and description fields to list all the damages and deficiencies prior to live bidding) and all bidders have to pay an extra 10 % premium for bidding via LiveAuctioneers. Extremely disappointed as this auction house is local but I will think twice before bidding on their items again.

My first purchase with Lund's Auctioneers was friendly, efficient and uneventful-just what I liked. I was purchasing from 1, 000 kilometres away, so I was watching closely to see how the bidding and post-purchase process would go, and I was impressed. Shipping cost and process was better than expected-highly recommended.

AN EXCELLENT COMPANY!

Searching through Live Auctions from Australia has become very entertaining and locating many choice pieces. However the cost or charges involved if the item is forwarded by a shipping and packing service is astronomical. I recently purchased a Wooden Russian Doll stack for US $50 and the quote for freight forwarding to Australia was US $210...! Which I rejected. It was returned to Lunds and they kindly posted it with a tip for US80.. of which I was most appreciative and will continue to shop/bid there.

I've been dealing with Lunds for many years. They've always allowed for a problem-free experience in their auction house. Pick-up and payment of won items is made easy with their knowledgeable and efficient staff. I'll continue to deal with Lunds for many more years.

I was surprised to be charged an additional 5 % when paying for my auction item

When a made a bid in error, they were helpful and fixed the problem with no trouble at all. It was greatly appreciated and removed any hesitation in future bidding.

They assisted me on any items I wanted to take closer inspection. They always called me in timely manner to come pick up and pay for the items I won. The transaction was swift and they provide abundant wrapping materials to ensure the safety of the breakables.
