I live out of town and had my daughter pick the item up. They unfortunately gave her the wrong item. I met her in Baton Rouge (2.5 hours away) to pick it up and was disappointed to discover it was not the correct item. I was a bit upset that I drove that far, and was not able to get the drawing or have it framed at the time.

Disorganized, dirty, and rather unfriendly “cashier” staff. I will not be buying from them again. Nor will I recommend them to others. The transport staff, however, was very approachable

Pieces were "misrepresented". Set of Walnut Chairs represented as "leather" were actually an embossed rubber/vinyl resin materail a. k. a.-naugahyde. A 19th Century Corner Cabinet was panelled top and bottom with 1950's masonite **********. Overpaid tremendously.

They automatically charge you $150 in storage fees if not picked up in 10 Days. When you live out of state, it’s not always instant to group with a transport within 10 days. Especially if you are traveling and running a business. They are the only auction house to do this.

I have dealt with this auction house many time and have always had a very good experience. They are very nice and professional in their business dealings and I plan to continue to do business with them for many years.

All emails subsequent to the auction went unanswered. I was conveyeying that I could not get in touch with any of their nominated shippers.

I bought a pair of vases. I wanted to pick up in person while in New Orleans but I couldn't make it until the next business day after they wanted things picked up. They were going to charge me $150 for pick up the next day. Enough said.

There shipping Co is a third party, which they recommended to me, they were very expensive and not professional, One coded me $250, other one $180. and I chose the other one for $136, which still was expensive?

As a first time buyer online without the opportunity to visit the preview, I was very nervous about the process. The Crescent City Auction House staff were polite and extremely helpful. The items I purchased exceeded my expectations. I will be a repeat customer of this auction house and LiveAuctioneers as a result of my positive experience.

To not offer any type of shipping services and to charge 25 % buyers premium is ridiculous. For that high buyers perm, I would have expected a high quality of customer service. I never receive an email from the auction house except for the invoice for payment. No email with a receipt or confirmation of payment received. I had to arrange all the shipping myself for a very small item that could have been shipped by the post office. I will not be purchasing from this auction house again.

Crescent City Auction was fine-item as described, no problem with payment, overall good experience. The only negative was the third party shipper "the UPS Store", which had been recommended by the auction house. I have used other "UPS Stores", but this one was extremely slow to pick up and ship my item. I had to call and e-mail "the UPS Store" repeatedly. Delivery of my item was a full month after the auction.

I purchased a beautiful frame, fully intact and in excellent shape. I received a broken frame with a large section completely missing. The frame was wrapped and sealed in plastic with good protection. The piece clearly was broken and lost after I purchased the painting and prior to the painting being wrapped and shipped. After sending photos and writing several notes, I received a snide statement from the auction house suggesting I read the conditions of sale "as is", of course ignoring that I did not receive the entire item I purchased. I would seek legal remedy if it were worth more than just a frame. They chose the shipper for me yet they don't even have the decency to investigate and find the missing section of the now useless frame. I am appalled by their insulting and patronizing response. As an experienced auction buyer for 25 years, I am disappointed.
