This was by far the worst experience I have had using Live Auctioneers in my nearly three years as a member. There was apparently some sort of glitch in the system while bidding and I was told by the site that I won a poster, but the auction house claimed that I did not. During the auction I bid on a second poster thinking that I had won the first and would be able to combine shipping. I did in fact win the second poster (but I would not have bid at all had I known that I did not win the first). The initial invoice that I received was incorrect, and it took me several phone calls to resolve that issue. I found the owner dismissive of both issues that I raised with him. I paid promptly on April 24 after the invoice was corrected, but as of today (May 10), I still have not received the poster. I placed another call today and was promised that it would ship "soon." By the way, this was a simple item to pack: a 20 x 30 inch poster that can simply be rolled in a tube. I would not do business again with this auction house under any circumstances.

I purchased the lots in an auction on 17 April, paid for them on 18 April, and after three phone calls the auction house says that my items are shipping today 6 March.

Item description lacking. Crack in lens not described. Shipping times could be shorter item received 4/18. Unsure if I would buy from again without asking lots of questions and additional photos.

It's not the auction houses that trouble me, but Liveauctioneers. Again and again I had to write for explanation, support. I NEVER received email confirmation of my two live bidding purchases from Live. Still not! Never received confirmation that my advance bid was the winner from Saturday afternoon until mid-Monday morning!! Nothing was in my cart during the auction. ** Also, who can leave the live bidding to go negotiate the cart site?? Immediate emails would solve that. ** Another thing that really annoyed me: On some lots, Live would send 10, 15 yellow alerts, bid faster, fair notice, etc. On others, you didn't send a single one! No auction that I know closes a lot without a "fair warning" and "going once..." As a result, I lost several lots I wanted. Summary: Your Live site is overly complicated, designed by computer geeks. It is not common sense, not utilitarian, definitely not bidder-friendly. Just make it SIMPLER and MORE DIRECTLY EFFICIENT.

I have not received my china. I have called twice, first to tell them they have cashed the check and asking when it would be delivered. Second call to see if they had sent it. David said that it would be shipped 4/5/16. My first experience with an auction. When I receive it, I will be happy.

My concern is in regards to the shipping processes of auction houses that provide 'in-house' shipping. I have purchased from several different auction houses on Live Auctioneers. I am starting to see a pattern in which auction houses that provide 'in-house' shipping charge sometimes double what Pak n 'Ship; The UPS Store or various other professional 3rd-party shippers charge. Some of the auction houses are adamant and give the buyer no-choice but to ship small items through their' in-house 'shipping. My fear is that more auction houses will slowly cut out the third-party shipping agent forcing the buyer to pay exorbitant shipping fees. Allowing the buyer to procure estimates through a third-party shipping agent ensures that the buyer has total control over the hiring of the shipping agent and how much they are going to pay. There have been several times that I will get estimates that differ by $25.00 or more on something as small as an antique lamp shade; and that allows me the freedom to choose which shipping agent to hire. I have been collecting antiques for over forty years and I enjoy the concept of Live Auctioneers; for it allows me access to multiple auctions-all at the same time. However, I can only hope (as many of my colleagues agree) that this aspect of shipping will be carefully monitored so that the buyer will have full confidence when purchasing items on Live Auctioneers. In general terms we had some issues with the description and condition of the lamp compared to what was written in the auction listing. The auction was willing to credit back part of the purchase price, but not as much as I requested, to make the transaction acceptable. I think I will ask more questions before the auction in the future and not assume that all defects are disclosed. It is sort of part of the game, and the disclaimers are written in such a way as to cover the auction house no matter how grossly the distort the fact. Its a shame that one has to be so cautious.

Took a little longer than expected to receive items. Approximately 2-3 weeks after payment was sent. Would be nicer if they accepted payments over the internet on their website in order to expedite shipping. Otherwise, the items were just as described and the packaging was excellent.

The whole shipping process takes way to long. I havn't received my items yet so I can't give the description of what I got. I feel that when customers spend thousands of dollars on items or whatever. you require either immediate payment if there in person or a. s. a. p. when online. I feel that when someone spends that much money you as an auction company should send product out much much sooner Than what you do. other than waiting for product I love your auctions and the quality of toys you represent in our auctions. Thank you again.

In my kitchen typing away I can reflect and honestly state that I am a good person. In addition I am a very experienced collector. I have visited dozens of auction houses and know what's what. I do like the articles that Milestones has to offer. I reall want to give them my business.... but I cannot accomplish this, the completion of my simple instructions emailed to Milestones on shipping. Shipping to my post office in small town Ontario Canada. I need this for numerous reasons that I have given to Milestones. Last shipment had my post office printed on the address, except, the parcel was sent via FEDEX not USPS as requested. Again I wish to repeat that I like what Milestones has to offer. Here's the rub, I have an item won for 35 USD at their most recent auction. I read the instructions over a dozen times and I am supposed to get an invoice with 2 days. It has been over a week. In the past as with every auction or eBay deal, there is immediate contact with my simple instructions. As always, I emailed Milestones within 24 hours with these instructions and the request for confirmation. In conclusion, my package addressed for my postal at my Post Office 3 blocks from my 5th generation home is in the hands of FEDEX not the Post Office... and I have to drive to FEDEX warehouse in city to pick it up with charges. OK. We make a boo boo or make two... but where is the Captain to right the auction ship here and provide simple service. Where is my invoice? So I can repeat my simple shipping instructions.

Shipping prices should be disclosed prior to purchasing. This affects the top bid amounts as my total purchase price increased 30 % after it was added.
