I Will not deal with them again. 1 Item missing (1973 Proof Set) and it took them 2 weeks to ship and another 6 day to arrive. With service like this shipping should be free!

They only offer one option for shipping, which is a local shipper who collects the lots. More than two weeks after payment, the shipper still has not contacted me with a quote. When I called the shipper, they would not allow me to have my items shipped on my own account, and they were rather rude about it as well. I think the auction house should be made aware that the shipper they are forcing buyers use is sub-standard.

I didn't pay attention to the contract So it's my fault not knowing. But very much dislike the Auction house disavowing any responsibility for shipping product.,, won't use James again! Added stress to process,

It would be very nice to have shipping of smaller items taken care of in house as third party shipping is extremely overpriced. The reason this would be advantageous to both bidders and the auction house is that bidders generally take into account that shipping will be high, and so they bid less on the item for sale. Some auction houses are now doing this and even giving the shipping price in the ad for the item making it much easier to figure out how much one can afford to bid on an item.

Hello. I had some issues around payment. I paid upon receipt of invoice and then my intention was to reach out to the Auction House to arrange pickup. I was delayed in reaching out and after about 7 days I received a second invoice from them saying I hadn't paid, which was emphasized in capital letters and somewhat rude in tone. I responded via mail and called them to discuss. They were helpful enough over the phone, but I was perturbed by the aggressive and inaccurate mail indicating I hadn't paid. I then coordinated pickup with them whereby my mother would pick up the item for me as she lives close to their location. When she showed up to pick it up it somehow had been allowed in with the other packages UPS was picking up that day for shipment through their store. They had to call back UPS with the item during which time my mother had to wait. In the end it was all resolved, but it was hardly seamless and quite sloppy on the auction house's part. Please feel free to reach out regarding any other questions you may have around the transaction.

Misrepresented a letter of authenticity for a questionable holocaust Star of David. UPS Store took over a week to ship & they did not coordinate prior to shipping as promised.
