It would be great if the auction houses shipped direct. Using outside sources is overpriced and inefficient.

I was shipped the wrong item. I don't know if the mixup was from the auction house or the shipping company they recommended I use. Unfortunately, I received the wrong item just after the hurricane rains hit Florida. My telephone call was returned a few days later. I shipped back the wrong item and they shipped me the correct item I bought at the auction. i am happy for the correct item and their response.

I have returned my bracelet and they have yet to refund my payment. I will be disputing the charges if I don't receive my refund in 24 hours. My bracelet appraised at half the carat weight that they claimed

I did not receive the merchandise even though it was paid for. After receiving my money there was no further communication. Will never ever deal with them again.

The best part of this experience was that the shipping was done by the auction house. It is a real hassle to get quotes for shipping.

5 day period for a dispute before payment is rendered is absurd. Du Mouchelle recently sold something of mine and they honored the sale 14 weeks later without a dispute. That is a little extreme but I think at least 10 days are fair.

I have not yet received what I bought so I cannot comment on the accuracy of the photos and representations. The auction house did not respond to emails re shipping. after shipping was arranged and acknowledging time was of the essence they forgot to ship. They seem pleasant enough but overwhelmed.

This company is very dishonest. The item had previously been broken and repaired, and I know this for a fact because I was the previous high bidder on it, it arrived broken, and I returned it to them and they told me then that they intended to have it repaired. That's fine, except it MUST BE DISCLOSED on the auction page, or at least when potential bidders inquire about it, and it was not. I had two friends of mine contact the company separately, and one was told it was a new item for them, "fresh" from an estate sale, and the other was told the item was in "perfect" condition, with no repairs whatsoever. Yet I have the "before and after" pictures that clearly show that is not the case. Please note that I am not dissatisfied with the item, because I knew what I was getting and fortunately my bid matched the value of the item with a repair. But I am very dissatisfied with the auction company's dishonesty.

The auction house misrepresented the item condition and sold me the Cognac Collectible Bottle with a broken seal. They also refused to resolve the issue amicably.
