Non responsive to calls and email with a question about the item purchased.

The item was mis-characterized as a major maker, and priced in that range. Although it was not by that maker, as I pointed out to the auction house, they title and description was never adjusted, nor was the price. I did like the item and purchased, even though overpriced due to the decorative value, but the item itself, was over the true value for the item.

Sofe sent 3 separate emails alerting me that I won each item. I promptly paid for each item. Surfing the Internet for a similar item, I saw that one of the swords I won, was being offered for sale on eBay. I contacted Sofe 3 times (e-mail and voice mail) and liveauctions once before before getting any responses. This took 3 days. I also contacted the eBay seller of the item I won. He confirmed he bought the item from Sofe. If it had not been for me alerting them of this fact, they would not have known. I then asked Sofe’s Manager/Owner to call me (twice). He refused. Instead he had a worker call me and say, 1. Too bad-the item was already picked up by a local bidder. It too late. 2. It was error, 3. That I would get a refund for the item, premium and shipping. After 3 years of online bidding, never have I been treated with such disregard. The fact that you are showing all “3” swords in this request for response is a testament of the questionable ethics and sloppy bookkeeping of this so called auction house. Never ever will I do business with Sofe and will encourage friends alike not to do so either.

I won't be bidding again with Sofe due to their very high premium and excessive shipping cost. I was charged $20 and a friend who bought an item the same size as mine (1/6th plate image) for the same final bid as mine was told he would have to pay $40!!! He had to call Sofe to negotiate a lower price which he said was still too high for such a small item even with the insurance included, he was very upset.

The in house shipping charges, although well handled, were quite expensive.

Shipping with the third party company was a bit of a scam, at least for the smaller lots I had.

Sofe gave out conflicting information about where my won lot was, causing logistic confusion and mistake on courier arrangement. Customer associate standing by for the telephone hotline was unprofessional and unknowledgeable about company practice. Very unpleasant experience with their customer service for both telephone and email correspondence.

Packing/shipping charges a bit high.

First time I pay PayPal they accept e few days later they don't accept then I make western union payment

Sofe did not mention that clock did not work, rather in their description stated "working clock" but auction house made it right and gave partial refund for repair. Would still purchase from these people.

Shady business practices. Not helpful with shipping. Still have not received the item that was paid for on Nov. 23. Address was posted as being in Denver but we were transferred to a Dallas location. Help! Will never deal with Sofe again.
