Good bidding experience and transaction

Good folks to work with. Shipping was expensive using USPS through Pak Mail. This was the shipping option still cheaper than liveauction. My 4 items weighed 13 lbs. in a box about12 "x12" x16 . I paid $44 for lot that's including all fees and paid another $71 for shipping. I am only showing this for transparency for out of state folks that wonder how much shipping would be. Also I did not request anything to be sent quickly as I was seeking the best shipping deal I could get. I will says its disappointing to pay almost double shipping than what my lot cost. Just have to figure this in when bidding. This in the end is on myself as i was in control of my bidding and I hold nothing against auction house because they were kind enough to help with the 3rd party shipping.

Great auction folks. Thank you for helping me out. As for USPS, they delivered my package that looked like it had been in a wreck and taped back up several times. Thank god the auction folks put my items in gallon ziplock bags which saved my items from being scattered across several states. The box was so badly damaged I could put a hand through three holes ripped but the gallon bags were too large to fall out. Overall I was not missing anything or no contents damaged so I guess USPS got off lucky on this one. By no means let this keep you from using these folks, they were nothing but helpful and i was whole in the end so no harm no foul.

bought a lot, they lied to me and said they accidently added coins to a coinbook then never sent them, said they would refund me cas they sold my item in another lot, but they still charged me shipping and auction fees for the item they never sent me, im out money and they are not trustworthy

Photographs noted minor damage to ark but failed to depict significant damage to 33 of 38 carved animals included. Admittedly I could have inquired prior to bidding but honestly, this big a miss almost feels intentional. There were photos of the minor damage to the ark, which is to be expected of an old wooden toy, but only one group photo of the animals where it was impossible to discern the extent of the damage. I have never even seen an antique ark toy where so many animals were damaged... of course, as with the ark some damage is expected but nothing like this. The value of this old toy has been significantly compromised by the damage and I feel a bit taken advantage of.

I paid for the painting, they told me that they were going to send it to me from a third party, I wrote like 5 times to the supposed shipping company and they never answered me, until now I just waited.

I had planned on buying several items at the recent Brooks auction. Unfortunately, I was unaware that they had issued a $400 bid cap on me meaning that the most I could bid in total was $400. The card I have on file has a max of $20, 000 so this makes no sense to me.. The items that I had planned on bidding on added up to several thousand in value so I was unable to bid on most items. I did win one lot and it was packed and shipped professionally. If you choose to participate in one of their auctions be very observant so that you are able to bid on what you want. I assume that if you see the limit, you can have it lifted.
