Always a pleasure

I'm in the U. S. and don't have much experience with auctions. This was my first time buying from a European auctioneer and I couldn't be happier. Historia Auctionata replied to all my questions and sent additional photos to help me with my decision. The shipping cost was higher than I would've liked, but not unexpected. The item was securely packaged and delivered quickly. Exactly as described and pictured and I'm so happy with the purchase. Will do business with Historia Auctionata again. Thank you!

I'd buy from them again in a NY minute. My ring is beyond beautiful. All dealings with them went smoothly.

This was my third attempt to work with this auction house. The first time was miserable... poor communication, they didn't "see" I had paid, when I had, their shipper was so rude and unhelpful I had to ask for another shipper, and items arrived with damage. The second time was much improved, though there were still issues and an item arrived with an undisclosed and unphotographed repair. This time-is the last time. Nice days to receive the invoice, Ok, I am patient. But from then on it went downhill, to the point that the business would not answer messages to even their telephone to confirm they received payment, and to answer shipping questions. I had to finally get Live Auctioneers involved to get an answer, after they didn't respond to email, phone (no voicemail even) or LA messages. Now, ten days after payment my items haven't shipped and they have no reason why. I'll be filing a dispute if my items ship this week and most definitely do NOT recommend working with this place. If I ran my business like this I would be out of business in less than three months. It's appalling.

The only way to contact them is via messages on LiveAuctioneers. I've never received any correspondence from them via email or mail. I don't know how to pay them or how to email them. I only get disputes on LiveAuctioneers. My auction was in March and I've been trying to reach them for months.

On the auction photo from clock, there are hands on dial, but I do received clock without hands.

They pretended that I never paid after I paid the same day that I "won". Then they had my pay for international shipping with insurance. Then again they said that I did not pay. Do not purchase from these people. I send them pictures of all my receipts and statements and still they say that I did not pay them. There is no way to get any effective answers or communication. I have emailed and written and tried to get the small present I was trying to buy for a loved one 6 months ago.

They sell items damaged or with various hidden defects as new, with perfectly polished pictures and nothing mentioned in item descriptions, however when arriving to pick up items they differ like day and night from the pictures and description in online auction. Will never participate again in any auction of this auction house.

All’s well than ends well, in this case. We encountered some issues which were frustrating on both ends, but ultimately worked it out and I am quite pleased with my items. The auction house staff were friendly and helpful in taking care of things, but I did not have a good experience trying to communicate with their shipper. The only other thing I would mention would be that photos of the reverse side of items would be helpful, and really should be standard for online auctions. One of my stickpins had a substantial repair on the back that wasn’t shown.

By my far location I asked some questions about payment and shipping, and all were responded kindly. The item arrived very well packed (Mail Boxes did a fine job) and without any inconvenience. Very satisfied with all.

Despite being in Germany, the process was smooth and efficient. Great quality and service.

Excelent prices, accurated description, took a little time for the shipping, but on the other side the packing was perfect, anh the shipping price to Canary Islands, amazingly cheap. They were very cooperative. I will repeat.
