The shipping quote seemed high so I contacted Redlands and was assured this was the most economical way to ship my items. The $17 box was oversized, and the items were wrapped in a thin layer of bubble wrap with edges sticking out. This wouldn’t have bothered me so much if I hadn’t been assured that this was the most economical way. Condition description was also vague. There were 2 identical parts that had very different shapes meaning one or both of them were bent. Just overall not the same service I’m used to getting from other auctions on LiveAuctioneers.

I had bought two lots of Royal Doulton Toby Mugs and had to leave them at the auction house for a couple of weeks until I could pick them up. To my surprise the auction staff had packed the mugs in packing paper and placed them in boxes so that all I needed to do was come by and pick up the two boxes. That was way beyond going the extra mile. I was very happy that they had provided that service for me. No auction house that I have dealt with on the West or East Coast had offered such thoughtful service!!!
