This is not the fault of the auctioneer, but I was charged sales tax by LiveAuctioneers even though I was exempt and also an online bidding tax without prior warning, and the cost of shipping was exorbitant.

I rely on your photos to determine condition of the pieces you offered. You failed to show damage on one of the pieces I bid on. That is unacceptable to me.

This was my first auction with Devin Moisan. We were pleasantly surprised at the antique quality of the items. It was a little odd that it was an "online only" format without video or audio, but it worked out in the end. their internet connections were perfect, with no glitches at all.

Found staff rude, not helpful, and unwilling to accommodate our moving needs, even though we come from 2 hours away. Desk incorrectly listed as "mahogany"-is actually birch! Linen press was cut in half and then bolted back together-a fact not revealed in the listing. We have bought items from throughout New England (including this auction house, previously) and have had no experiences matching this-most disappointing.

It took almost three months after payment to arrive me. Such a slow working I ever had experience in my life

I won an item in the June 16th 2023 auction and it went almost perfectly. The only problem was that I had a new shipper pick up the item and the front counter didn't see that I had paid for it already. The shipper had to call me and it was released. Anymore on auctions, I call the listed shippers to get quotes. I know that shipping is more expensive now but some give exorbitant quotes that I just won't bid on items. There is now a new shipper who was honest, extremely fair and kept the cost down. The shipper is Package Central FedEx Authorized Ship Center nearby, **********.

Good auction house

Overall very happy with the purchase and service and give them an A +. I do think the shipping was 2x ($150 to ship a musket) vs the usual $60-75 what it normally should be and these folks may be in cahootz, however the seller's recommended shipper did package the item very well (double boxed) and it arrived in good order, so perhaps it was money well spent.

Chose the option to have the lot packed and shipped by The Parcel Room. They did a good job; would use them again should the opportunity arise.

Devin Moisan Auctioneers were very quick to respond to my questions and helpful when I picked up my item.
