Auction highlights include a painting of Dr. Newton attributed to Wright of Derby with three letters from his family plus a small image of Lafayette presented to President George Washington by Comte d' Estaing. Indian tribal land deeds and a Wyandotte petition highlight our Native American entries. A rare 1590 edition of Jerusalem Liberated by Tasso and literary first editions and letters are also featured. Also offered is a handwritten letter by General Ulysses Grant reiterating his surrender terms just days after the final surrender of the Confederate Army.
