Noteworthy works of art and interesting designs from all over the globe unite in Wright's bi-annual Art + Design auction. This sale features a distinct selection of works exploring abstract themes from the 1960s and 1970s with pieces by César Andrade, Manuel Merida, Larry Zox and Sidney Wolfson among others. Most significant among the offerings is a stunning work, titled Physichromie No. 688 by Carlos Cruz-Diez, one of the key 20th century thinkers in the realm of color. A collection of Italian paintings from the Collection of Evelyn Brindis Demmer as well as an outstanding selection of works by Charles Biederman from a private collection also stand out within the sale.
