Alice Hagerman Thurber, (USA/Michigan, 1871-1952) Watercolor And Graphite on Paper, Ca. 1950, "Acoma Pueblo", H 9.5" W 13.5" | Signed in the lower right. Depicting a mountaintop pueblo. Matted and framed under glass, H 15", W 19". Alice Hagerman was a lifelong Birmingham, MI resident. She was a pupil of Joseph Gies at the Detroit Fine Arts Academy. a life member of the Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors. She also studied with Sarkis Sarkisian later in her life. Provenance: Property of Prominent Collector, Birmingham, Michigan
