Description
**Originally Listed At $350**

Roman, Republic to Imperial Period, ca. 300 BCE to 100 CE. A trio of wrought iron shaving blades with flattened, spatulate heads that resemble paint scrapers. The tips of two are intact - curled into loops for suspension - a ring is still attached to one! Clean shaven faces was not only a fashionable choice, but strategic for soldiers - beards could be grabbed in battle and for hygiene to prevent lice. Size: 4.75" L x 2.5" W (12.1 cm x 6.4 cm)
