Two Imperial German 1889 Model Dragoon Officer's Swords Reign Of Wilhelm II (1888-1918) The first with fullered nickel-plated blade double-edged towards the point and etched over half its length on each side with differing martial trophies and foliage, one side inscribed with owner's name 'Heinrich Thelan' in gothic letters against a blued ground, and on the other with 'Kurmärk Drag. Reg. No. 14' in gothic letters also against a blued ground, regulation white-metal hilt cast and pierced with an imperial eagle on the folding side-guard, and ribbed black composition grip, in original steel scabbard with remains of black paint; the second of similar form, with nickel-plated fullered blade etched with martial trophies and foliage, one side inscribed '2. Rhein. Husern Reg.
