Antique 19th Century Oil on Board German Painting 2 Boys with a Dog. This painting is unsigned in the style of Johann Heinrich Hasselhorst (1925-1904). It depicts a folk style setting of a young boy with his toys, and a dog on its hind legs while an older boy pointing his finger telling the young man a story. There is a kitty cat peeking around the corner watching the scene. The colors of the characters are bright with dark setting background. The frame appears to be very and primitive in style old but in good condition. The painting on board measures H 27" x W 21.5" the frame measures H 34" x W 28.5" and weighs approximately 11 lbs.
