Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Salado culture, ca. 1150 to 1500 CE; Pre-Columbian, Northern Mexico, Chihuahua region, Casas Grandes culture, ca. 1100 to 1450 CE. A group of 3 hand-built pottery bowls from the ancient Salado people: 1 with a vermilion exterior, 1 with painted corrugations, and the largest with a spiraling red-on-buff motif. Included is a petite Casas Grandes bowl with red and black linear motifs atop its beige ground. Size of largest: 6.1" W x 3.2" H (15.5 cm x 8.1 cm)
