Ceremonial Sikh Cloak, Circa 1900/20, India. An unusual and rare ceremonial garment embroidered in the Punjabi Phulkari technique. This spectacular garment is double-sided, with one side featuring polychrome embroidery on ivory cotton, and the other side adorned with polychrome embroidery on indigo-dyed cotton. Size: 4'0'' x 4'2'' (122 x 127 cm).
