1) Simple microscope by Carl Zeiss (preparation stand V), c. 1899, marked "Carl Zeiss Jena" on the magnifying arm and eyepiece, serial no. 32249, 10x magnification, coarse and fine adjustment by moving the slim stand column, simple plane mirror, black lacquered bronze stand, height only 4 ¾ in. – 2) Hensoldt Tami pocket microscope, 1924 onwards, no. 40952, height 4 1/3 in., complete with screw-on cover. – And: 3) 2 drum microscopes, c. 1900, brass, height 6 in. each, in wood cases.
