Early 20th Century, Likely Sioux, Plains Indian. This is a very nice figural head carved into soft stone. It was likely used as a staff topper. It has several markings, including a collection marking, a excavation, manufacture, or collection date (1933) as well as other unknown markings. A very nice vintage piece.
