Late 19th/early 20th figural doorstop in the form of a walking polar bear. The polychrome paint decorated earthenware filled molded copper body with felt bottom. H: 7.5 in.; W: 14 in.; D: 4 in.

Late 19th-early 20th Century. Bear and Ragged Staff symbol for Warwick, England. Weighted with iron impressed "1608". Good patina. 13.5"h.
