1087: A Franz Bergman cold-painted bronze horseman
Late 19th / early 20th century, Austrian, the underside of horse with foundry mark and further marked ''Geschutzt'' and ''5724'', further marked ''5724'' to underside of cape, depicting an Arab on horseback holding a rifle across his shoulders, 4.25'' H x 4'' W x 2'' D, est:$1000/1500.
Provenance: Private Collection, Santa Barbara, CA. Condition: Good condition overall. General marks, rubbing and scratches commensurate with age. Scattered minor losses to painted decoration throughout. Some dust accumulation. The rider sits slightly loose in saddle.
