"This is a Halloween story about Georgie and how he scares the robbers and gets the furniture back in the house. Of course, he gets a little help from Hermie the cat and Oliver the Ghost. Robert Bright (1902-1988) was an American writer and illustrator of children's literature who wrote and illustrated over 20 books in his 40-year career. He is best known for Georgie stories, a children's classics about a friendly and shy little ghost who lives in Mr. and Mrs. Whittaker's attic.
